01 Jul | Good Health Mag Interview

When I first get to LA, I want to get into a positive head space — find my gym and Pilates place and see some shows. I want to make my whole life the entertainment business. I want to do some acting workshops and accent courses. I'm up for embracing something new.

I suffered from depression in my early twenties, so I'm very aware of the importance of not getting too stressed. Depression is hard to explain unless you've been there. It feels like the whole world is against you and there's nothing that can snap you out of that isolated space. I cried almost every day for a year.

29 Jun | Prey DVD & US release
Aussie horror flick Prey premiered in Las Vegas last week and has been well-received by the American audience with reviews starting to hit the internet.

There's nothing better than discovering a really good movie. Especially, a really good horror movie that isn't about a slasher, a normal zombie, an uber zombie or (fill in the blank.) Prey is just such a movie. A jewel yet to be discovered, at least in the US. However that is about to change.

The atmosphere of the film is creepy, almost from the start. Acting is above average with a excellent chemistry between "Gus" and "Kate". This film is a lot of fun to watch. It seems fresh. Being fresh in an industry where remakes and re-imaginings are announced everyday is an accomplishment in itself.

Full review

Sometimes a movie has bad acting. Sometimes a movie has an incomprehensible script. Sometimes a movie has bad acting. Prey has all three. Yet, Prey is one of the most fun movies you will see this year.

Why is this movie one of my new faves? Because at no point does it hide it’s cheesiness. At no point does it even pretend to make sense or even provide you with any scares whatsoever.

Full review

As for the Australian DVD release, the reported June 30 release date has been pushed back until October to coincide with its USA release. We will have more details closer to the date.
