Rogue Traders frontman James Ash has posted a message to fans on the band's official forum announcing Natalie Bassingthwaighte will be parting amicably with the band to pursue her own solo career.

The band were expected to take a lengthy break once their Better In The Dark tour concluded earlier this month, but with a solo album on the way as well as other commitments (such as So You Think You Can Dance Australia, Prey, and the persuasion of more acting roles in LA) the band have decided it best to part company.

While Natalie's departure will be a big loss, James Ash has assured fans that it is not the end of the Rogue Traders.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte is up for the "Best on the box" award, for her role as host of So You Think You Can Dance. The show itself is also up for an award, nominated under the "Glued to the screen" category for the most addictive TV show.
