Natalie's first ever job was working in a fish & chips shop. Her other jobs went from scrubbing dishes in a restaurant, to sewing men's suits in a formal men's wear shop.
It is commonly mistaken that before Natalie's rise to fame she was a meter maid, worked in a café, ran a llama farm, and maintained a recording studio. This was in fact her character Izzy Hoyland on Neighbours.
While Natalie tends to keeps her private life out of the public eye, she has mentioned being married for a short time at the age of 23, until she was divorced around 1998.
Natalie is currently in a steady relationship with Rogue Traders drummer Cameron McGlinchey. She has also previously been linked to assistant Neighbours director Ryan Eckersley, and Big Brother contestant Gordon Sloan.
While promoting Don't Give Up, which supports the depression awareness charity Beyond Blue, Natalie revealed she herself suffered from stages of depression when she was younger.
Natalie always listens to The Killers, who are one of her favorite bands, before performing live on stage. She also loves to listen to the Olivia Newton-John song Xanadu before peforming with the Rogue Traders, to the dismay of the rest of the band.
Before joining Rogue Traders, Natalie had recorded her own solo demos with an acoustic-rock sound. She is still currently working on her debut solo album. |
